Beetroot rice · Salmon
Alfonso is a Latin American kitchen with an Asian accent. Charcoal, citrus and chilli on one side of the pass; sesame, ginger and precision on the other. Every plate is composed like a still life and seasoned without apology.
Beetroot rice, guacamole, coriander and lime meet teriyaki, edamame and pickled ginger. Nothing decorative. Everything intentional.

"Exotic is not a garnish. It is how we cook everything."

The dish is further enhanced with julienned carrots, tangy cucumber pickles, and zesty onion pickles, all accompanied by a fresh lemon wedge. Served with rich teriyaki sauce and creamy garlic mayonnaise for the perfect finishing touch.

"Cook it with fire, finish it with restraint."
Raised between Lima's markets and Tokyo's counters, Mateo built Alfonso around a discipline he learned young: respect the ingredient, and it will do the work for you.
Every sauce is house-made, every grill fired to order, every bowl leaving the pass only when the colour is right.

The beetroot rice bowl with salmon is the best thing I've eaten in Dubai.
Latin flavours done properly, and the grill is seriously good.
Took a client for lunch and they asked to come back the same week.
